Bear Cub Cabin is a large family friendly knotty pine cabin located up in the beautiful Sierra Mountains of California. Bring your family and friends up to enjoy the fresh pine mountain air. Spend time at Twain Harte Lake, or Pinecrest Lake in the Summer or ski Dodge Ridge in the Winter.
4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a den which can be used as a 5th bedroom , 2 living rooms, 1 wood burning fireplace, 1 propane burning fire place, and a huge deck. 3 king beds, 4 twin beds, 1 crib, 1 pack n play, and 1 queen sofa bed.
Bear Cub Cabin is happy to provide everything you need for your family vacation: 2 Stokke high chairs for babies/toddlers, stuffed animals, baby monitors, night light & sound machine. We also have games, puzzles, books to borrow, and 3 large screen TV's. One of the tv's is on the deck!
Our yard and back deck are fully enclosed, making it easy to let your little ones run around! We have a kids playhouse, slide, water table, basketball hoop, beach toys and an adjustable height net to play badminton. The back deck is for kids of all ages. HOT TUB! Fire pit, BBQ and outdoor prep area. Table and 6 chairs, kids table and 6 chairs, 2 hammocks, and plenty of seating. Come enjoy the clean mountain air!

We have a SUP to borrow, floaties and life jackets. Plus The Shack is open at the Lake.
Easy walk in to town to play Mini Golf, pick up coffee or go out for lunch or dinner.

Great place, great location. We stayed here and skied Dodge Ridge. Dodge Ridge was only 25 minutes away. The cabin was cozy with lots of space. And the cabin is a five minute walk to town, which has several good eating options. Looking forward to coming back summers and winters.

“Excellent stay, would definitely return!”
My family of 4 went to Twain Harte during the winter and really enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious, plenty of room for kids to run around, the kitchen is well stocked, and the deck is fun for kids to play with the snow. We would definitely return!
